Inman Park Festival and parade

I went to the Inman Park Festival on Saturday and had a great time. They have the best Parade in the city with a ton of crazy floats and people dressed all insane. I absolutely love it. Which you will be able to tell by the insanely large number of pictures I took and decided to post.

For Becky

My friend Becky loves pictures of cat paw pads. That inspired me to take some with the macro lens. I must say the cats were not terribly helpful with this project. They like to move, and kept hiding their feet. Problem cats.

In this same set, uploaded simply because they were on the flash card with these, there’s also some more flower shots.

You can see the whole set here.

ICE!!!!

I got into the ICE festival!! Whooooohooooo.  If you don’t knowm it’s one of the biggest and coolest craft fests in Atlanta.  AND it’s going to be in Centennial Olympic Park.  Should be a blast!

Wood nymph

Becky, Lori and I headed out to the Value Village near Lakewood. They were hunting clothes for crafting, while I was there for the general mayhem and craziness – of which there was plenty.

I found another creepy baby — and have decided she’s a wood nymph — at least for the time being.

I have a new idea that involves toys — I want to get some action figures — Star Wars, He-Man — all the stuff I used to play with and do some macro shots. Maybe action figures playing poker. Or lounging on the beach. Hero’s day off sorta stuff.

s seen from the deck at Six Feet Under. I propped my camera on my camera bag — but the deck was still shaking and moving with people walking around. Still I quite like the way it turned out.

cropped for detail

After I posted that last set of photos — I decided to recrop a few of them to really get into the detail the macro lens can capture.

Even in my weed invested, no-grass-having back yard there are some pretty things. So I took a small tripod and my macro lens out today — I manged to get some cool stuff.
