I’ve added some new things to my Etsy shop.

These are something I’ve been experimenting with — and they’re likely to evolve some as I do more.

They’re basically a 4×6 image in a soldered frame. The image has actually been transferred to the glass using a transfer medium and is slightly translucent. The backing is aluminum flashing, which gives the image a bit of a metallic sheen.

I then freeform solder the edges. I like how they’re sorta edgy looking and unconstrained.

I have a few listed in my Etsy shop now, and will be listing some more soon.

I added a whole new product line to my Etsy shop! I’ve been wanting to have 8×10’s to sell for a while. They’re a nice size — big enough to stand oon their own, but you can still have multiples if you want (I have a grid of six on my living room wall). But I wasn’t able to find frames I liked in a quantity that made it easy to do.

The answer? Mats! I found a place that would sell me a bunch of acid free mats at a reasonable price — so I got a test batch and the results are now up on in the shop.
